Public Group Walks

This Little Life

Sundays 0900 - 1100 / 5 - 10 pax / Guided by Jovena

$59 / session

Min. 5 pax to commence.

In the rush of daily life, it’s easy to overlook the quiet miracles unfolding all around us. Slow down your foot steps in this forest therapy experience and notice the glimmers —things that gives you joy— while frolicking in nature.

You will be guided to come into the fullness of your body, and through your senses to rediscover the softness of leaves, the scent of the trees, the touch of the wind and the bird songs that are so ever present. These small, fleeting wonders are love notes from the world, reminding us that life is always offering something beautiful, if only we take the time to see.

As you walk, listen, and feel, gratitude naturally takes root—an organic and gentle process as a result of being cared for.

Come with an open heart and let the forest show you that joy is truly within reach, existing in the little things, in your little life.

  • All forest therapy experiences follow the same standard sequence under the training of Association of Nature & Forest Therapy, which is a proven method to receive therapeutic effects of nature.

The guide will gently bring the group into awareness of the different senses and offer activities and invitations to interact with nature in a heartfelt manner. Sharing circles between the activities will also bring about collective learning and open up perspectives, offering authentic human connections.

With each unique theme, the guide will bring along their own colours to the experience and offer the opportunity to connect with this aspect of life.

  • Jovena was a marketer in a global firm until meeting with a mid-life crisis which drove her to craft a purposeful and balanced lifestyle for herself. She chanced upon forest bathing while finding ways to manage her anxiety and fatigue, and was inspired by the experience to join a 6-month training by ANFT to learn the science and art behind the practice.

Having experienced the health benefits of forest bathing firsthand and discovering her deep connections with nature, she now lives the calling to be a voice for the forest, and the bridge between humans and nature.

She founded Gentle Walks in 2022 with the mission of promoting gentleness and mindful living in the city, and advocating for mental and holistic well-being through nature experiences.

Her way of guiding is also psychology-informed, being equipped with a Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy & Counselling from The School of Positive Psychology.
